Maxine E. Perrine

Maxine Elaine Perrine, 74, of St. Germain, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026. Maxine was born on March 28, 1952, at the Naval Hospital in San Diego, California, to Ruth and Dean Beeler. She grew up in California and graduated from Castle Park High School in 1970. She went on to marry Ramon Gonzales, and together they raised six children. Following the passing of her late husband Ramon, Maxine relocated to Wausau, Wisconsin, in 1990 to begin a new chapter. She spent many years serving her community while managing The Rib Mountain Travel Inn. On June 23, 2000, Maxine married David Perrine. Together, they shared 25 beautiful years of marriage. In 2017, Maxine and David retired and moved to St. Germain, where they fully embraced the peacefulness of the Northwoods, enjoying snowmobiling and boating. Maxine had a vibrant soul with a passion for music, dancing, and cooking. She was also quite the bowler and the biggest Green Bay Packers fan, always cheering them on decked out in all of her lucky gear. Above all else, she lived for her family. She cherished family get-togethers more than anything, especially the loud, loving, and unforgettable gatherings affectionately known as "FAM BAM." She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ramon Gonzales; her father, Dean Beeler; her mother and stepfather, Ruth and Ralph Weidman; and her nephew, Gregory Krueger. She is survived by her devoted husband, David Perrine; and her children, Tammy Zabala, Tawnya Gonzales (Shad Opper), Mona Ray (Buddy Baker), Ray Gonzales, Ginger Sherman (Zach), Teena Smith (Josh), Stephanie Devine (Derek), Jamie Snead (Matt), and Michael Perrine. She is also survived by her siblings, brothers Danny Beeler (Vicky), Tom Weidman (Karen), and Ralph Weidman (Kris), and her sister, Mary Krueger (Paul). Maxine leaves behind a legacy of love through her grandchildren, Eriq, Kayla, Izabella, Cruz, Taylor, Alexis, Cooper, Louie, Mya, Kamden, Sierra, Evelynn, Isabelle, Abbie, Jake, Jocelyn, and Aislynn, as well as many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren. A ceremony and celebration of life will be held on Friday, June 19th, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Pavilion in the Forest Downs community, located across from 1684 Forest Drive, St. Germain, Wisconsin. A spreading of her ashes will take place in the near future in her birthplace of San Diego, California.
