Diane Marie Martin February 13,1935 - May 8, 2023 Diane Marie Martin, age 88, loving wife and mother of five was called home to eternal life with God on May 8, 2023, at the age of 88 years. Diane was a lover of life, a loving wife, and the best loving Mom and Grandmother there could ever be. She will be painfully missed, and a great void has been left in her passing. The love of her life was all of her family, all the time. She always put everyone’s needs before her own needs without hesitation. She loved nature, flowers in her garden, and a sunny afternoon sitting on her outdoor swing. She also loved to cook delicious meals for her family, riding her scooter, boating and fishing, word puzzles, painting, and other crafts. She was preceded in death by her husband- Richard H. Martin, and two sons- Jeffrey J. Martin and Kelly J. Martin. Also preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Evans and both parents Cecilia and Edwin Walloch. Survived by her brother, Dick Walloch and her three remaining sons- Scott (Julie), Michael, and Shawn (Ashley); grandchildren Karly (David) Steinhage, Kendra Diane, Krista (Kyle) Lamke, Richelle Martin, Casey (Erin) Martin, Joshua (Meagan) Martin, Dylan Martin, Andrew and Sara Martin, Abigail and Emma Martin. Further survived by 8 great-grandchildren; lifetime sister-in-law Carol Maholias; many other nieces and nephews; long-time friends Hannah and Sue; and many others. Diane’s wishes were to be cremated, and to have a private Celebration of Life at Reuland's Catering, 1571 Hwy 51 North, Arbor Vitae, WI 54568 at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 19, 2023. Rest in Peace Mom, Grandma, Sister, Aunt. Though we lost one of the best, HEAVEN GAINED AN ANGEL.
